Elector Advocacy Litigation Example

Following is an example of pending litigation for which electoral advocacy is critically important:

On Friday, 6 September 2024, the North Carolina Court of Appeals required State Board of Elections officials to remove Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name from the 2024 general election ballots and print new ones. That afternoon, the State Board of Elections appealed the NC Court of Appeals order. This caused a pause in printing and sending out of ballots in all 100 North Carolina counties.

A press release from the North Carolina State Board of Elections is here.
