Help Threatened Election Workers - Election Official Legal Defense Network (EOLDN)

The Election Official Legal Defense Network (EOLDN) connects pro bono attorneys with election officials election officials who are threatened, harassed, intimidated, or defamed, or exposed to criminal penalties for doing their jobs to administer fair elections.

EOLDN is a project of The Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR) and contributes to CEIR’s overall work to restore trust in the U.S. election system and promote election procedures that encourage participation while ensuring election integrity and security.

They also help connect election officials with communications professionals, as requested.

EOLDN’s services are available regardless of political affiliation. “As a public charity exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, CEIR may not participate or intervene in any political campaign on behalf of, or in opposition to, candidates for public office.”
